lists, lists, lists...

happy new year fuckers! i realised i hadn't made any obsessive 2006 lists yet so here goes nothing:

phalanxx's 32 favourite tunes of 2006 (in no particular order, click to dload the highlighted songs)

the similou - all this love (tonite only's fuck tomorrow mix)
madonna - get together
daft punk - human after all (guy-man after all remix by justice)
digitalism - jupiter room (martian assault edit)
mylo - paris four hundred (etienne de crecy's odyssee mix)
bjork - who is it? (vitalic mix)
justice - waters of nazareth
scissor sisters - i don't feel like dancing (teenage badgirl mix)
royksopp - what else is there? (trentemoller mix)
justin timberlake - my love
mstrkrft - easy love
depeche mode - personal jesus (boys noize rework)
robbie williams - lovelight (soulwax ravelight dub)
moby - beautiful (benny benassi mix)
midnight juggernauts - shadows
cirez d - control freak (ozgur can remix)
alan braxe & fred falke - bliss
uffie - hot chick
para one - dudun-dun
ludacris feat. pharrell - money maker
the knife - we share our mother's health
coldplay - talk (jacques lu cont remix)
linus loves - vh1
freeform five - no more conversations (mylo mix)
benjamin theves - texas (sebastiAn mix)
gnarls barkley - crazy (shame the rest of the record was a piece of shit eh?)
yeah yeah yeahs - gold lion
tepr - coke and cream
tim deluxe - i don't care
the presets - are you the one?
kanye west - jesus walks
booka shade - mandarine girl

and now the worst of the order.
phalanxx's most hated tunes of 2006. these 'gems' had me wretching with disgust over and over again...

sandi thom - i wish i was a punk rocker (with flowers in my hair)
her record is titled 'smile, it confuses people'. enough said.

02. gwen stefani - wind it up
gwen, you're an idiot. pharrell, you're a bigger idiot for getting involved. the finger thing means the money

lily allen - smile
i don't care who your dad is, it didn't work for norah jones and she can actually sing

04. robbie williams - rudebox
robbie, you're entertaining and all, and versatile. but reggae??? remember when the beatles tried it? it fucking sucked and so does this.

ha ha love your lists, you inspired me to do my own on myspace:

but how could you forget Bob Sinclar - I mean come on, it really was HIS year. 'Love Generation' broke so many boundaries and left us all begging for more, which Bob proudly served up. For a more detailed discussion, check out my list.
